This Cookie Policy explains how Tree Safety Institute, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on treesafety.org and app.treesafety.org.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners. Cookies are not programs — they cannot install software or execute code on your device.
Similar technologies include local storage (data stored in your browser beyond session end) and session storage (data stored only for the duration of your browser session). We use these in the same ways as cookies.

Information about your visit to treesafety.org may be shared with marketing partners in aggregate, non-identifying form to help us reach tree care companies that may benefit from our platform. | N/A (not currently in use) |
Essential cookies are required for the Platform to function. You cannot opt out of these while using the Platform. Authentication cookies (Supabase) fall in this category — without them, you cannot log in.
Functional cookies (such as Stripe's fraud-prevention cookies) are necessary to complete transactions. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan, these are not set.
Marketing/analytics cookies are optional. We currently do not use them. If we add them in the future, we will provide a consent mechanism before setting any such cookies.
Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can:
Browser-specific instructions:
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We do not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for their interpretation. We will update this policy if a standard is adopted.
We may update this Cookie Policy if we change how we use cookies. We will post the updated policy at this URL with a new effective date. For changes that introduce new marketing or tracking cookies, we will provide notice and, where required, seek your consent before those cookies are set.
